Is this you?

Who walks in

A woman with shoulder-length hair that is thinning at the part, seated in a consultation room.

Thinning all over. No bald spot anywhere.

Your part is wider than it used to be and your ponytail is thinner.

There is no patch you could point to, because it is not a patch. It is everywhere. That is a follicle that is still there and still alive, and that is exactly the situation this is for.

A man with hair thinning at the temples, seated in a consultation room.

Receding at the front. Not bald.

You see it in photos more than in the mirror.

You looked into a transplant, and the drive to Houston, the recovery and the cost were more than you wanted to sign up for. You are not after a miracle. You want somebody local to look at it and tell you straight what is realistic.

A man seen from behind and slightly above, with thinning hair at the crown, seated in a consultation room.

The crown is going see-through.

You catch it in a photo from behind, or under the bathroom light, or somebody mentions it.

Your scalp shows at the back of your head where it never used to. There is still hair there, just less of it covering, and hair that is still growing is hair we can work with.

A woman with fine, straight, fair hair, seated by a window in a consultation room.

Your hair is coming in finer.

Each strand grows in thinner than it used to.

So the same amount of hair covers less and holds a style for less time. Finer hair means the follicle is still working, just at less than it used to.

What goes in

What are we injecting in your scalp?

Growth factors, stem cells, extracellular vesicles, peptides, amino acids, collagen and hyaluronic acid.

1,500+ natural components, working together in the balance nature made them.

We believe you should know exactly what goes into your scalp and what it does. Here are a few of the main players.

  • The body's growth signals. These are what tell a follicle to get back to work.

  • Tiny messengers that carry growth signals straight to follicles that have gone quiet or started shrinking.

  • The source of the signals. They release what supports new growth and less shrinking of the follicle.

  • Strengthens the tissue that anchors each hair and rebuilds the base every follicle sits on.

  • Deeply hydrates the scalp and calms inflammation so follicles can cycle normally.

  • Small signals and building blocks. Peptides spark follicle cells into action, and amino acids are what new hair is built from.

How it helps your hair

How it helps

In plain language, this is what those components do once they are in your scalp.

A woman running her fingers through thick, healthy hair at the part.
  1. Wakes up tired follicles

Growth signals rejuvenate follicles that have slowed down or gone quiet and switch them back into growth mode.

  2. Feeds the scalp

Delivers the nutrients and building blocks follicles need, right where they live.

  3. Supports blood flow

Helps build new tiny blood vessels around each follicle, so more nutrients reach the hair.

  4. Calms inflammation

Cools the chronic scalp inflammation that is one of the biggest reasons follicles shrink.

  5. Creates a healthy environment

Hydrates and strengthens the scalp every follicle sits in. Healthy scalp, healthy hair.

  6. Thicker hair over time

Healthier follicles grow stronger, thicker strands, and the change builds over the series.

Individual results vary. A consultation with Dr. Buzzard is the only way to know whether you are a candidate and what to expect.

The Precision Method

What's different about the Precision Method

Not minoxidil, not finasteride, not surgery. And significantly less expensive than a hair transplant.

A man in his forties in a light blue collared shirt, smiling as he sits in a consultation room.

What most people try first

  • Minoxidil and Rogaine A foam or liquid every day, for as long as you want it to keep working. For a lot of people it does nothing.
  • Finasteride A daily pill. It can slow the thinning down, but plenty of people find it does not thicken what is already thin.
  • Thickening shampoos They promise growth on the label, and then they rinse off.
  • PRP and PRF (platelet-rich plasma and fibrin) Your own blood, spun down and injected back. It depends on your own platelets, which change with your age and health, and it lacks most of the components in this treatment.
  • A hair transplant A surgical procedure with a long recovery. Expensive, usually an out-of-town trip for several days, and no guarantee the new hairline looks natural.

Why the Precision Method

  • It's natural. Components your body already knows, in the balance nature made them.
  • It's not a pill or a foam you use forever.
  • It's not your own blood. PRP depends on your own platelets, which change with your age and health. This is the same consistent treatment every time.
  • It's not surgery. Nothing is shaved, cut, or moved, and it is significantly less expensive than a hair transplant.
  • It's delivered right where follicles live, with a comfortable needle and no numbing.

Wherever you are with it

Four reasons people come in for a consultation

Your hair is thinning, and you have not tried anything yet.

You have noticed the thinning, maybe in a photo, maybe because someone said something. You have not put anything on it or in it. That is a fine place to start. A consultation is a look at your scalp and a straight answer on whether this is worth doing for you, or whether something else is.

You are considering a topical or oral medication.

A foam you use every day, or a pill you take every day, for as long as you want it to keep working. Before you commit to that, come in and talk it through. Dr. Buzzard will tell you how this compares for your hair, and whether the two make sense together.

You are thinking about a transplant, but worried about the cost.

Come in for a no-cost consultation before you book the surgery. A transplant comes with a long recovery, a big bill and usually an out-of-town trip, and our treatment is significantly less expensive. If you still want the transplant, this is how you get ready for it: the stronger your hair going in, the more a transplant has to work with. If surgery is the right answer for you, Dr. Buzzard will say so.

You already had a transplant, and you are noticing more hair falling out.

A transplant moves hair follicles. It will not stop your scalp from aging, and the hair around the transplant keeps thinning. Precision injections can either prepare your scalp for the best possible implantation, or help maintain the transplant and prevent additional thinning.

The needle

The needles we use

We use a very short, very fine needle designed to place the treatment right where your follicles live. Most people say they barely feel the injections. No numbing cream, no waiting. The procedure takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

The delivery device we use is FDA cleared.

A cut-away diagram of scalp skin, not to scale. A standard needle goes straight down through the skin and fat into the muscle. A second standard needle enters at an angle and ends in the fat. A dollop of cream sits on the surface. The needle we use is a tiny three-point tip that stops just inside the skin, in the layer where the hair follicles are.

What to expect at your Precision Hair BCS appointment

Your appointment

About thirty minutes, no numbing, nothing shaved, and back to your day.

Dr. Aaron Buzzard, MD, in glasses and a white coat over black scrubs, sitting and talking with someone across a low table in a consultation room.
  1. You check in at the front desk.

Same building and same front desk as Precision Medical Aesthetics. Someone walks you back to a private room.

  2. Dr. Buzzard sits down with you.

He introduces himself, looks at your scalp under good light, and goes over the whole process before anything happens.

  3. No numbing, nothing shaved.

No numbing cream and no forty-five minute wait. Nothing is shaved and nothing is cut. He works through the hair you have.

  4. If you decide to proceed, 20 to 30 minutes of treatment.

Most people say they barely feel the injections. Each one leaves a small raised point on the scalp, and those settle on their own.

  5. Then you go back to your day.

No recovery, no hat required, no hiding.

  6. Built as a series of injections, about four weeks apart.

Dr. Buzzard photographs your scalp at every visit, so you can both see how it is going.

  7. A check-in at six months.

A follow-up visit with photos at six months, to see how well it is working and whether additional injections may be needed in the future.

No special aftercare, except be gentle with your scalp for 24 hours after the treatment.

Questions

Questions people actually ask

Does it hurt?

Most people say they barely feel it. 95% of patients rated the injection as painless or less painful than a regular needle. We use a very short, very fine needle, so there is no numbing cream and no waiting.

Do I need numbing cream?

No. There is no topical anesthetic and no thirty to forty-five minute wait before we can start.

What is actually in the treatment?

More than 1,500 natural components, including growth factors, stem cells, extracellular vesicles, peptides, amino acids, collagen and hyaluronic acid. Every main component, and what it does for your hair, is on the What's in your treatment page.

Is this for women too?

Yes. Thinning is not only a men's problem, and a lot of women deal with it quietly. Thinning all over, a wider part, a thinner ponytail: the treatment and the appointment are the same.

How is this different from microneedling?

Microneedling makes tiny channels in the skin and the product is spread on top, so how much of it actually gets down where it needs to go is left to chance. This places a measured amount of the treatment right where your follicles live, at every point. Related idea, completely different level of control.

Will I bruise?

It is uncommon. Bruising happens when a needle reaches the blood vessels that sit deeper in the scalp, and the needle we use is too short to reach them.

Do I have to shave my head?

No. Nothing is shaved and nothing is cut. We work through the hair you have.

Can I go back to work afterwards?

Yes. There is no recovery. You will have small raised points on the scalp at each injection site and those settle on their own.

I am genuinely afraid of needles. Is this for me?

This is the method we would point you toward. The needle is very short and very fine, and most patients describe the sensation as light pressure rather than a needle. There is nothing to numb and nothing to brace for.

How do I know if I am too far gone for this?

The short answer is whether the follicle is still there. Thinning, receding and see-through areas are good candidates because the follicle is alive and underperforming. An area that has been completely bald for more than about two years, or that has gone smooth and shiny with no hair in it, usually is not, because those follicles have closed. Come in and let Dr. Buzzard look before you decide that about yourself. Bare is not always bald, and he will tell you honestly either way.

Is it safe?

The delivery device we use is FDA cleared. And every consultation and every injection is done by Dr. Buzzard himself, a board-certified physician with 22 years in practice.

How many sessions will I need?

Dr. Buzzard builds this as a series of three, about four weeks apart, with photos at every visit and a follow-up at six months to see whether additional injections may be needed. He will tell you honestly if he does not think you are a good candidate.

How long does an appointment take?

About thirty minutes, start to finish. There is no numbing step, so there is nothing to wait for.

How much does it cost?

Your consultation is free, and pricing is discussed there, not on the site. There are two treatment options, and Dr. Buzzard goes over which one fits you, along with how many sessions he recommends and why. What we can say here is that it is significantly less expensive than a hair transplant.

When can I get in?
